AOL Email on the Web offers a spell check feature to verify the spelling in your email before you send it. The spell checker will highlight any words that need correction in yellow.
To check spelling:
1. Type your email message.
2. Click the Spelling button. Words that may be misspelled will be highlighted in yellow.
Note: Once the spell checker is active, you can click the Exit Spelling button at any time to end the spell check.
3. Click one of the words highlighted in yellow. A menu list of options will be displayed below the word.
4. Click one of the options on the list. The list will offer at least four options, listed below:
5. Repeat steps 3-4 until all highlighted words are corrected or ignored.
