Screen names

One of the best ways to protect your kids online is to give them each their own screen name. This gives them their own online identity, and allows you to set specific levels of access to the web, email, instant messages, and more. You can set limits on what your kids can see and do while they are online.

When you create a screen name, AOL automatically asks you to set a Parental Controls level for it. To create a screen name, sign on to AOL and go to Keyword: Names.
