How do I allow a non-AOL member to use an external web browser?

Once Internet Access Controls (IAC) are installed, an AOL screen name and password are required to access any external web browser or internet applications. This will not prevent use of desktop applications such as word processing or PC games.

Two options are available to allow a non-AOL member to use the external browser and internet applications on a computer with IAC downloaded:

  1. Sign on as a master screen name and turn off IAC.
  2. Create an AOL screen name with General (18+) access for this person.
