How do I report spam to AOL?
Users of AOL 8.0 and above can simply use the Report Spam button in their mailbox to notify AOL of spam and other unwanted email. For more information, see: How does the AOL software help me fight spam?
For users of previous versions of AOL, we have a number of dedicated teams for different kinds of spam so we offer various email addresses to ensure that the report is investigated immediately. Simply forward the email in question to one of the following screen names:
- Any kind of Internet mail should be reported to COSMAIL1 or COSMAIL2.
- Spam from another AOL member should be reported to COSUK.
- Spam containing an embedded file or a file attachment should be reported to COSFILES.
