Use the AOL Toolbar 5.0 Pop-Up Blocker

The AOL Toolbar adds pop-up blocking functionality to your Internet Explorer. When you need pop-ups allowed for Web browsing, you can turn off the Pop-Up Blocker or customise the Pop-up Blocker controls to allow pop-ups from certain sites.

Notes:

  • The Pop-up Blocker in the AOL Toolbar software is a different piece of software that has slightly different behaviors than the AOL Pop-up Controls in the AOL software. The Pop-up Blocker settings in the AOL software are applied individually to each screen name on the account. Pop-up settings within the AOL Toolbar software will apply to any Web site that is accessed using the Internet Explorer software.
  • Currently this feature is not available on AOL Toobar for Mozilla Firefox.
