The AOL Toolbar 5.0 software is configured to automatically check for updates. If you have turned that feature off, you can manually check for updates.

Manually Check for AOL Toolbar 5.0 Software Updates

When you choose to manually update the AOL Toolbar 5.0 software, it will first check if any updates are available.

To check for AOL Toolbar 5.0 updates:
1. On the right side of the AOL Toolbar, next to Sign In link, click the Toolbar Options icon, select Help, then click Check for Updates.

2. If an update is available, follow the onscreen prompts to download and install it. Otherwise, click the OK button.
