- Switch to low energy light bulbs. They use a third of the power but are just as bright.

- Kettles are greedy little energy guzzlers. Only boil as much water as you need.
- Switch to a green supplier that generates electricity through wind, water and solar power. It works just the same.
- Most mobile chargers eat electricity. Turn off your charger once you've powered up your phone.
- Don't leave the TV on standby. Get up and switch it off ... and burn calories at the same time
- Don't be a drip. Fix leaks and save water.
